Who controls your information

The business whose loyalty programme you joined is the controller of customer loyalty information. VisitBeat provides the service and processes that information for the business. VisitBeat is the controller for merchant account, security and billing information.

Information we process

Depending on how you use the service, this may include your name, email address, phone number, birthday, consent choices, loyalty visits, stamps, rewards, feedback, account details, device and security records.

Why we use it

We process information to provide loyalty cards and rewards, secure accounts, deliver requested messages, support merchants, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations and improve service reliability. Marketing messages require the appropriate consent.

Sharing and retention

Information may be shared with contracted hosting, messaging, wallet, payment and support providers only where required to operate VisitBeat. Information is retained only while needed for the programme, security, legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You may ask the relevant merchant to access, correct, export or delete your loyalty information, or withdraw marketing consent. Merchant account holders may contact VisitBeat through their workspace. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Security and international transfers

VisitBeat uses access controls, encrypted transport, session protection and audit records. Where a provider processes information outside the UK, appropriate transfer safeguards must be used.
